HEALTH is a band who won critical acclaim at the tail end of the blog house after Crystal Castles remixed one of their songs. Now they have focused on strengthening their conceptual + live hardcore show brand to appeal to modern internet indie music fans.

The video was directed by Eric Wareheim, who may or may not have become the ‘Spike Jonez’ of the internet buzzband era.

This song is called ‘We Are Water’, and I probably wouldn’t have listened to it if it didn’t have a video that ‘sucked me in.’ Was probably a good idea to make it a violent meme. Always interested in seeing penis / taint stabbings + decapitations. In the video, some fat rapist man is chasing a hot alt skank who is wearing a blonde wig. Probably some sort of allusion to an old movie / story or something.

Is this video ‘interesting’, both visually + storytelling-wise?
Is HEALTH relevant?
