This picture of Die Antwoord, the South African viral meme rap sensation recently emerged on Diplo’s twitter feed. This picture serves as some sort of marketing / personal branding meme. We can only assume that Diplo will ‘produce the shit’ out of 2-10 Die Antwoord tracks to make them highly bloggable/authentic. We cannot confirm that Die Antwoord will be bigger than M.I.A.

Die Antwoord won’t be the next MIA because they are more comedic than an actual good band. MIA has real talent. I don’t think Die Antwoord’s music will be in any movies, or make it to mainstream networks.
