You can see that the band was ‘mad into it’, like this was their ‘opportunity to gain tons of fans and mainstream success.’ A liberating moment on the journey from blog band to a ‘legitimate band entering new markets.’ We will see if the band can ‘please their record company’ by selling mad units in their overhyped, overanticipated ‘sophomore LP.’

This may or may not prove that post-indie bands would not exist/thrive without the our wired/wireless world.

Neon Indies cancelled their show at Great Scott in Boston (tiny chill venue) as part of Boston’s first homegrown (some local bro put the whole thing together on his own) electronic music festival to play James Fallon.
Many alts disappointed. Passion Pit still plays Great Scott for free whenever their in town.
Is PP more alt than Neon Native American?

Hello / I see that the fascits at nbc pulled the video for neon indian on jimmy fallon. It was one of the coolest live performances I have ever seen on tv. Jeez, I dont understand how so many of you can be so negetive about Neon Indians success. Half of you are probably the same Modest Mouse “fans” who detest the their new albums and condemn them for their mainstream sucsess. You can all go to hell. Music is music. You like it or you dont. How popular or successful the band gets shouldn’t really matter. Jimmy Fallon likes Neon Indian. What is wrong with that?? hes just another person, like me and you.
